BEHIND THE LENS

I knew I wanted to be a photographer when I was 9 years old. I would dress up my barbie dolls and pose them for their "family pictures" and then steal my mom's 35mm film camera to shoot them with. My cat was also one of my best models. My mom would develop a roll of film only to find that every single picture was of my dolls or my cat. It was then when she started buying me my own disposable cameras. I went through hundreds of them.

After highschool, I went to Northern Arizona University where I continued to express myself through photography, art and music. I graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in both Photography and Advertising.

I am now living in Dallas, married to my best friend, and have a beautiful daughter, who gets her picture taken every day! My style of photography is artistic and candid.  I am fascinated by interactions between people and I love capturing raw moments. I come from a very artistic family with several generations of sculptors and painters. Photography is my art. Its my way of creating beauty and capturing the world around me.
